Shop with a Viking at Jigsaw
Innovative British clothing retailer, Jigsaw, is offering shoppers with children a unique experience.
Jigsaw has teamed up with Leeds author, Neil Harrison, for the first UK
store reading from ‘Chosen’, a Whitby based, Viking inspired adventure
book for
9-12 yr olds. Neil will be
at Jigsaw’s Victoria Quarter store in King Edward St., Leeds on Sunday
24 March 2013. The readings and activities, including refreshments for
the children, will start at 3.00pm.
Jenny O’Hara-McRandal,
Manager of the Leeds Jigsaw outlet, says the free event will provide a
welcome opportunity for customers to enjoy a relaxed shopping experience
while their children revel in an exciting modern day Viking story.
Jigsaw in Leeds have previously held other successful events including a
Titanic themed occasion, Heritage Day history of the store building and
a Tea Party for The Haven Breast Cancer Support Centre.
Copies of ‘Chosen’ will be available for purchase on the day with half the proceeds going to Martin House Children’s Hospice.
