To celebrate the launch of Adnams Limoncello, Harvey Nichols Leeds is excited to introduce May’s Cocktail of the Month, Southwold Spring.
Adnams Limoncello was the first liqueur made at the Adnams Copper House Distillery in Southwold, Suffolk. The new Adnams Limoncello uses a much higher strength vodka in which to macerate the lemon zest. This means that more of the fresh, zippy citrus oils have been extracted from the zest, making this year’s Limoncello even more lemony than the last.
Southwold Spring showcases the new limoncello expression with the utmost elegance. The zesty flavour of the Limoncello is balanced with a generous splash of the rich and distinctive Kings Ginger liqueur. The bouquet of citrus flavours is complemented by the floral aroma of Monin rose syrup and then strengthened with an egg white. This seasonal cocktail is perfectly balanced by a pleasingly clean, dry finish.
Southwold Spring was created by Dominic Jacobs from the Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge London’s Fifth Floor Bar and is now available at the Harvey Nichols Leeds’ Fourth Floor Bar for the month of May.
