SHADESTATION
Fashionistas visiting the Victoria Quarter are in for a style treat as Shadestation, the UK’s largest independent sunglasses and watch retailer, moves from its former location in the arcade and opens its doors to a brand new 1,500 sq.ft. store on Thursday 22nd September.
To celebrate the opening, customers will be invited to an exclusive late night shopping party, where they will be able to browse the hottest trends and coolest fashion for autumn/winter 2011. Shoppers will be able to take advantage of the 10 % discount on the night and gifts with purchase, as well as enjoying a glass of champagne and a celebratory cupcake on arrival.
The top floor of Shadestation’s new store will house a flagship Oakley store-in-store, as well as a collection of more than 200 Rayban sunglasses. The store will also be one of only two in the UK to have an Oakley Custom Programme kiosk, which enables the style conscious to build their own unique shades with their choice of frame colour and finish, lens and tint.
The new store will also carry Shadestation’s growing jewellery collection; with brands ranging from boho-chic inspired to eclectic and highly traditional to rugged and edgy, and will include Bibi, Danone, 8LA, Guess, Fossil, D&G and Pilgrim.
Shoppers will also be able to purchase gorgeous, new purses and handbags as Shadestation has recently expanded its offering into accessories, with popular brands such as Fossil, Jan Sport, Eastpak, Oakley and Dragon now on board.
The store will also showcase Shadestation’s growing sunglasses and watch collection. With shades from over 35 designer brands, ranging from the high end and sought-after luxury labels, such as Tom Ford, Chanel, Dior, Gucci and Prada to the fresh, cool and edgy brands, including Ray Ban, Carrera, Police and Prada Sport, as well as the sports focused brands, including Oakley and Dragon. Customers will also be able to make the most of its extensive watch collection, which now comprises of over 55 brands ranging from the kooky and quirky Marc by Marc Jacobs watches to the exquisitely luxurious Michael Kors watches and the sporty and vibrant collection of Adidas watches.
