SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ SEEK UNSIGNED HIDDEN GEMS FOR

NEW FACES MODEL SEARCH

July 2011 will see SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ joining a nationwide search in collaboration with new scouting agency Unsigned to find the faces of its new spring / summer 2012 campaign.

The Unsigned Model Search with SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ will find two new faces – one female and one male – who will start their journey into the world of high-fashion with the SS12 SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ campaign shot by supermodel and acclaimed photographer Helena Christensen, who also forms part of Unsigned.

The Unsigned Model Search with model scouts, headed by Cesar Perin, will conduct the ultimate ‘street-casting’ as they tour the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland in a branded SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ 4x4.

The tour begins on 23^rd July 2011 in Birmingham then stretches the UK and Ireland driving between seventeen cities including Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow, Bristol and Manchester before culminating in a final London leg on September 2^nd with a two-day in-store open casting event at the SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ Café in central London.

UNSIGNEDMODELSEARCH.COM will keep everyone up-to-date on all things tour related including a GPS track on the tour car’s location, daily blog updates, exclusive industry interviews, competitions and most importantly a chance for aspiring models to upload their imagery to become part of the search.

International supermodel Helena Christensen will head the judging panel, bringing her industry expertise – in front of and behind the camera – to this exciting initiative. The panel will also include renowned fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco, model Robert Konjic and David Vivirido - Editor-in-Chief of leading international men’s style magazine Hercules.

Additionally, Unsigned Management in association with Swarovski are delighted to announce that "The Food Doctor" Ian Marber is the official nutritional advisor for the Unsigned Model Search with SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ Tour. The Food Doctor will be on hand to support our models throughout the selection process and will address how important food and nutritional choices are whilst trying to achieve and then maintain optimum health

Helena Christensen comments “I have been approached to do so many reality TV shows, model searches and design platforms but I’ve always said no. I hate the fact that people feel judged in a public way. Sometimes it is more about the entertainment value than it is on the discovery. Cesar Perin has an incredible eye, I have shot several of his models and we’ve been friends for years.
